Mercy Flight is an independent, not-for-profit provider of emergency and non-emergency air and ground medical transport and supporting services; ensuring rapid, safe and cost-effective delivery of expert response teams. Established in 1981, they have safely completed more than 31,000 patient missions over the last 40 years. Mercy Flight provides around-the-clock care to service all of Western New York, Northwestern Pennsylvania, Canada and beyond.


The Bash for Mercy Flight serves as a way to raise money for Mercy Flight through ticketing, sponsorships and their live auction. They were unable to find a one-stop solution that encompassed all aspects. 

Additional Pain Points:

  • 3 Hour Check-In for VIPs and Attendees
  • No ability to record emails for future marketing purposes
  • No means to comp Sponsors/VIPs other than pencil/paper
  • Difficulty sparking participation of the Live Auction


UBMe Solution

A dedicated team was staffed for Mercy Flight to break down all of the challenges and create the best plan of action. UBMe was able to provide guest check-in of under 2.5 seconds per person to decrease the wait time per attendee of 3 hours to 15 minutes.

In addition, registration was provided through UBMe to have a complete guest database that can be used in the future for re-marketing. 

A separate line was designated for VIPs/Sponsors to ensure there was 0 wait time, regardless of when they arrived.

A Live Auction custom solution was built for Mercy Flight and tailored toward the needs of its auction items and the venue layout. Attendees were encouraged from the time of registration to the actual event to partake in the event, so a significant amount of intrigue and excitement was garnered leading up to the auction. 

End Result

Overall, the Bash for Mercy Flight went off without a hitch and attendees were able to enjoy the full night’s worth of activities rather than waiting in line. The organization was top-notch and will make next year’s logistics and planning even easier. Post-event analytics were provided at the conclusion of the event, so Dry Creek Group will be able to look back and reflect on the metrics to see what was a huge hit and what can be improved upon next year!
